Pastor Len Boston

After growing up in an evangelical denomination and graduating from its Bible college, Pastor Len went on to minister in that system. At a point of frustration due to lack of spiritual power, he and his wife, Roxanne, began to draw on Yahweh for understanding about Holy Spirit.

After being filled with the Spirit, Yahweh directed them to resign their church to be joined to the ministry of Apostle F. Nolan Ball of The Rock of Panama City, Florida. During their time receiving from Apostle Ball, they heard by the Spirit that they were joined to Apostle Ariel Ainsworth and his wife, Lisa. The Bostons moved to Vermont when the Ainsworths were sent to establish this ministry.

Pastor Len ministers part-time on staff, leads the choir, and is part of the worship band. Along with the gift of pastor, Len is also a Kingdom teacher.

He runs a painting and carpentry business with Roxanne (who manages its office and bookkeeping in her “free time”).

Their eight-year-old son, Jonathan, is a home-schooler who truly loves to learn.

Pastor Bob Forrest

Bob graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1962 with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. Following graduation, he pursued a course of study that led to becoming a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries in 1971. He worked 33 years in insurance and benefits consulting, and over the last 26 years served as consultant to a diverse group of clients ranging from closely held family businesses to numerous hospitals and large corporations.

In 1982, Bob met the Lord and immersed himself in the life of the local church. Over a period of years, he was participated in the orchestra and prison and inner-city ministry, taught new converts and finance and budgeting classes, directed a stewardship program charged with financing a large addition to the church, and led a home cell group. This was followed by terms as trustee and deacon of the church, board member for the Christian school, and lay representative to the AG District finance and compensation committees.

Bob and his wife quickly found they had a love for foreign missions as they went with a number of medical and construction teams to Haiti. Subsequently, they were appointed lay missions directors and led teams to Haiti and Swaziland, and accompanied a group of pastors to Russia in 1992. Following the latter trip, they experienced a strong leading of the Holy Spirit to establish a ministry in Africa. This led to an exploratory trip to Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Madagascar and several additional trips to Madagascar, before retiring and moving to Madagascar in January of 1996.

During their time in Madagascar, they:

  • founded a home for orphaned and abandoned children and ultimately built a home expected to house up to 100 children.
  • established several feeding programs for the poor and for children in rural villages.
  • worked with local believers to improve agricultural programs, including expanded plantings and construction of a cistern.
  • built 2 churches, and assisted with materials for numerous others
  • conducted pastors’ schools.
  • worked to assist and encourage pastors and evangelists, both through the preaching of the Word, and use of The Jesus Film produced by Campus Crusade for Christ in over 100 villages.
  • arranged training for 3 teams to continue the film evangelization following their return to the states.

At the end of 2000, Bob & his wife returned to the states for what they thought was a short time to visit family and to rest up for a return to Madagascar. After a period of 6 months they realized that they wouldn’t be returning to Madagascar, but instead were called to serve under the ministry of Apostle Ariel Ainsworth at The Rock of Greater Burlington, where Bob was ordained as Pastor in April of 2002. Over the next 5 years, responsibility for the ministry in Madagascar was gradually transferred to Malagasy nationals.

Pastor Doug Stone

Douglas Stone was born April 1, 1957 the third of six children to Father, Fred and Mother, Dorothy. Doug’s Father served in the Air Force for 20 years and retired a Captain in 1966. Upon his father’s retirement from the Air Force, his family settled in north central Texas where Doug completed his schooling graduating from Trinity High School in Euless, TX in 1975. Doug attended College at The University of Texas Arlington where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1981. Doug began a banking career in 1983, which would last for almost 20 years.

In 1987 Doug met his future wife, Terri (sister of Lisa Ainsworth who is the wife of Apostle, Ariel Ainsworth at The Rock) at a small church in Fort Worth, TX. The Pastor of the church was Reverend Cameron Ainsworth (Father of Ariel Ainsworth). In 1987 Doug gave his life to the Lord. Shortly after this, Doug and Terri were engaged and were married in November 1987. Doug and Terri were very active in the church in Fort Worth and it was there that Doug felt the call of the ministry in his life. He pursed this call by attending Dallas Christian College in 1989. Between semesters he and Terri were filled with the Spirit by Ariel Ainsworth (who had been filled with the Spirit earlier that year). Through their relationship with Ariel and Lisa Ainsworth they began to hear about a ministry which was training sons in the ministry and sending them out to establish their own church known as The Rock of Panama City located in Panama City, FL. This ministry was headed by Apostle F. Nolan Ball. Doug and Terri helped Ariel and Lisa move to Panama City to be a part of The Rock of Panama City. That is when Doug and Terri met Apostle F. Nolan Ball. They both returned to Texas and began to pray for direction concerning their lives and they heard to move to Panama City to be a part of that ministry for training with the express purpose of eventually being established in the ministry. Doug and Terri were a strong part of that ministry and it was there that they matured in their faith. Even though Ariel and Lisa Ainsworth were family, it was during this time they knew that they were joined by the Spirit. They knew that when Ariel and Lisa were going to be sent out that they would go with them to help them in establishing a church.

In May 1997, Doug and Terri moved to Vermont to help Ariel and Lisa establish what is now known as The Rock of Greater Burlington (The Rock). The first services of The Rock began in September 1997. In a little over a year the church was self sufficient. Since 1997, Doug has served as business manager of The Rock keeping track of the financials of the church and maintaining the contribution records. During the first five years of the ministry Doug served in these capacities as a lay minister and additionally served as the drummer in the church worship band.

In the early years of Doug and Terri’s marriage they did not try to start a family mostly for financial reasons. In 1993, Terri became pregnant, but there were complications early in the pregnancy. They went to the doctor and found out that she had lost the baby. It was a difficult time in their lives. The doctor informed them that if they were to try and have children again it could be detrimental to Terri’s health. Their faith and relationship with Yahweh (God) helped them through that challenging time. They heard to sow a financial seed into a family who had also had a miscarriage. They knew if they were going to have any children they needed the word of the Lord. Terri became pregnant in 1999, but again there were complications and she lost the baby. It was difficult, but Doug and Terri remained strong in the Lord along with the ministry of Apostle, Ariel Ainsworth. In 2000, they heard to try again and Terri became pregnant and on March 23, 2001 their daughter, Ariel Ann Stone was born. She was named after her Uncle Ariel and Aunt Lisa (whose middle name is Ann). She was the word of Yahweh become flesh to Doug and Terri. Praise Yahweh!

From 1997 to 2002 Doug worked for Merchants Bank. He was hired as a Credit Analyst and within a year was promoted to an Underwriter. When Doug and Terri moved to Vermont they lived in Winooski, VT for the first two years. In 1999 they bought their first home in Swanton, VT and this is where they continue to live to this day. In 2001 at the direction of the Lord Doug began a small commercial cleaning service called Doug Stone’s Cleaning Service. At that time Doug was still working full-time with Merchants Bank, fulfilling his duties with the church and cleaning at night. In April 2002, Doug was officially ordained into the ministry and as a Pastor of The Rock. In September 2002, Doug became a full-time Pastor with The Rock. The financial position of the church had improved along with Doug’s cleaning business, which enabled him to no longer need to work for Merchants Bank.

For over 20 years Doug has served the Father and the Son by the Spirit. Over these years Doug has become a son of Yahweh allowing Yahweh’s Word to continue to guide, direct and govern his life and that of his family and as a minister of the body of Christ. The Father joined Doug to his spiritual Father, Apostle Ariel Ainsworth, which has been a tremendous blessing in his life and that of his family. Yahweh called Doug to work alongside Apostle Ariel as strength to him, his right arm as it were. Doug is called to lift Apostle Ariel’s hands and arms which he has done and continues to do that marks his ministry with success. Doug’s vision is to assist in everyway that the word and vision of Yahweh to Apostle Ariel comes to pass. Doug continues to work to this end that Yahweh has called him, which continues to be as the business manager of The Rock and any aspect of ministry that is needed of him to see this ministry and his Apostle succeed. When Doug was ordained in 2002 it was prophesied over him that he was faithful. “To be faithful” means to hear and obey Yahweh’s Word. Doug has received this word and he lives his life as a man of faith. If you ever see or meet Doug, his prayer is you will see a man that is in his place doing what the Father has called him to do.
